Most people don't read a contract end to end: the clause that matters gets lost among boilerplate, and one missed paragraph about termination or penalties can cost more than an hour of a lawyer's time. Cruxly's legal mode isn't a separate product, it's a checkbox, "This is a legal document," inside the regular PDF analyzer: you turn it on yourself after uploading a file, there's no automatic contract detection in any language. With it on, the service breaks the document down clause by clause: for each one, the verbatim text, a plain-language paraphrase, a category (obligation, right, payment, termination, penalty, confidentiality, governing law, dispute resolution, and others), and a risk flag. The flag doesn't filter anything out: exhaustive mode returns literally every clause in the document, not just the ones the model judged important. Long contracts get split into overlapping segments so no clause gets cut in half, and after the clause-by-clause pass, the service also builds a short overview of the whole document.
